Pigeon and Tortolas

Completely different to pigeons from other regions, you will find here the speed and height wanted for the best shooters. The pigeon is considered plague in our fields because of the great damage they cause the crops. Million of them devastate crops and pastures; and this is because of the combination of the excellent shelter they find in our woods (where they rest) and the short distances to the crops (where they eat).

The “montera” pigeon (the smallest one) has a special flight over 30 meters high combined with the ideal speed for an interesting shooting.

The observation of their behaviour during the previous days and the analysis of their movements will show us the best position for our hunters to take. Speed, height and number are the three characteristics that always take place satisfying the most demanding shooters.

1000 shots to pigeon per day per hunter are easily achieved by enthusiastic shooters.
After intense pigeon hunting, we also enjoy wonderful walks in search of partridges with the help of trained dogs.
